(I started it Callie! *gives herself a cookie*) Alone under the shadow of a great tree was a dark figure. As he steeped closer to the edge of the tree's shadow his form was illuminated by the sun, enough to tell what he was. It was a pinkish colored stallion, his coat was marked in black flame markings and pale colored swirls. His white, black, and pink mane was long and fell over his bright blue eyes as the wind blew it. Two blue and pink horns cured back from his head, much like a gazelle's. A long lion like tail moved back and forth slowly behind him as he watched the day creatures go about there business. He however, was a creature of the night. He could barely see when the sky was bright and cloudless. Luckily the sun was blocked by numerous clouds in the sky today, sheilding the suns blinding rays. He backed away from the light again, his ears falling to his skull skyly. He wanted to join the other creatures but his vampire side made him fear going into the light, no matter how dim it was. So he remained in the dark, waiting and watching...

A lone, black mare grazed along the grass of the Valley, sighing gently as she lifted her head up to glance around. She blinked her soft blue eyes slowly, staring off into the distance and watching the famillies with a slightly fond look. She'd always wanted children herself, but for some reason she'd never got out far from the herd to even meet anyone else. The only ones she knew around here where the members of the herd and her family of course.
Another sigh escaped from her and she lowered her head; her soft blue coloured mane spilling over one side of her neck and a series of strands following as they fell over one side of her face. Upon a closer look, she had bright blue eyes, the same ones that her mother, Ocean once harboured until she lost her eyesight. She gulped, her head moving to the tremble in her throat. "Just another...normal day." She declared. Her wings folded in and became tucked in against her sides as she moved through the area, nearing the bushes. Strands of her tail flickered up and down as she found a new patch of grass to graze in. She lowered her head again, keeping it near her flame and wave marked legs. Yes. This was just another normal day...

The stallion watched as one of the mares came closer to his hiding spot. His ears folded back in confusion. What should he do? He hadn't talked to anyone else in a long time, but he wasn't sure he should say anything. He didn't have much time to decide, she was already about to move away. After thinking it over quickly he walked from the shadows of the tree to the edge, so he could easily be seen, trying to catch her attention.
